Stevens is one of but three institutions to win the laurels multiple times.[101] The able-bodied department has previously been awarded a #13 ranking in the 2011 Learfield Sports Division 3 Directors' Cup,[102] and the 2007 Jostens/NADIIIAA Community Service Award of Merit.[103] In the fall 2010 season, Stevens was one of only two D-Iii schools with four teams competing in postal service-season NCAA tournaments.[104]

Soccer [edit]

The 2008 men's soccer squad reached the Div. III NCAA championship game, losing to Messiah Higher in penalisation kicks.[104] [105]

  • Soccer goalkeeper Zach Carr received All-American and Bookish All-American honors in 2010.[104] Carr led the nation in 2010 with a .927 save percentage and maintained a 3.92 form-signal average.[104] During the course of his career, he held the 2d longest scoreless streak in NCAA history and held an unofficial record of 55 shutouts.[104]

Lacrosse [edit]

Stevens holds the distinction of having the oldest continuously running lacrosse programme in the country. The program won the national title in men's lacrosse 4 times: 1892, 1894, 1917 and 1918. It has also won conference championships in the Skyline Briefing and the Empire 8. Stevens has a men's gild ice hockey team that plays at the AmeriHealth Pavilion at Prudential Centre in Newark, New Jersey, which is the aforementioned practice facility of the New Jersey Devils.

Women'southward fencing [edit]

Stevens has won the D3 fencing championship honor at the National Intercollegiate Women'due south Fencing Association (NIWFA) for several consecutive years. In 2018, they did not lose to a beau Sectionalisation 3 team all season and went 32–3 overall.
